In With The New…

Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for June. This month we are excited to show off new Stampin’ Up! products from the just released 2015 – 2016 annual catalog. We hope you find great inspiration from the projects. Get your wish list ready!

You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Jennifer Michalski at, number 9 on the Pals Hop. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.

My card and gift package gives homage to Georgia, my home state for the last ten years.  Georgia Peaches are known to be sweet and juicy. I think this card is sweet as well.

The stamps are hostess sets. Silhouettes & Scripts has the cutest images and the “You’re a Peach” was the inspiration for my card.

My family has quite a few birthdays in June and the “Happy Birthday Everyone” coupled with the Cherry on Top Designer Series pack made a special birthday card. It all came together for a birthday card anyone would love to receive. Don’t you think?

The Cherry on Top Designer paper pennants added all the new In Colors as well as the birthday themed balloons.  For the gift box I made the little Peach.  It was fun to make using the Curvy Box Die.  Isn’t she cute?  The small tags that come with the die made the darling leaves.

The Glorious Grunge stamp reminds me of confetti falling.  So bright and cheerful you can almost feel it dropping in your hand.

I wanted the envelope to be as pretty as the card. Covering the flap with Cherry on Top Paper that matched the pennants on the card front did the trick.  The envelope was so easy and it looks so pretty.

I used the You’re a Peach stamp to make an accent for the cardfront.  The Peach is six paper layers thick so it really stands out from the card.  The picture angle makes it hard to see the dimension, but it makes a Wow statement.  I added smaller pennants on the inside of the card that match the front.

I hope you enjoyed the card, wasn’t it “Peachy”, lol.

Enjoy you day, and Remember to Kiss Someone You Love

Flying Fish and Butterflies

Have you ever made a mobile to hang over a crib?  Well this week we made one to hang in a playroom.

One to coordinate with Lilly’s pink butterflies.  Wyatt’s is made with our shades of blue.  Circles seemed like the perfect shape and the circles dies made cutting easy peezy.

Each circle is stamped with an Octopus, anchor, fish, crab, lobsters, star fish, or stars image.  Both sides are stamped so as the mobile moves with the air  you always see a sea creature.  The Octopus is on the largest of the circles and stamped in White on one side and the globe is stamped in Blue on the other and vice versa.

Easier to understand from the picture:

Each set of images was stamped using different coordinating ink colors.

Rope was used to cover the embroidery hoop. Doesn’t that just finish the nautical theme perfectly.

The Butterfly Die made cutting  so easy.  The pastel colors add to the beauty of this gem.

Toile is wrapped around the hoop to create a light and airy butterfly home.  Any little girl, or  big girl for that matter, would love having this beauty over her bed or in a play room.

So get out you dies, punches, stamps and paper and make one today.  I can see a Christmas one over the table during the holidays. Or perhaps one made totally in white for a wedding shower. Oh Something for Baby with dies for a baby shower…

Your options are limited only by your imagination.
